Im a young-hearted man who not only loves the Lord with my whole heart but genuinely loves people. My warm and joyful smile will embrace you like no other. I have always known that God sent me to this world for a specific task, to bring the message of love and hope to a young generation. Having a mother with a troubled pregnancy, the abortion question hit the surface and almost omitted my birth. However, as a result of God speaking to my parents, they decided to take the risk and have me. Born in Riverside, California, premature at 6 months and only being a small 4.5 pounds, I was diagnosed with asthma. Immediately, my parents prayed that I be healed, and before I turned one month old, God healed me, which led to my release from the hospital.
Challenges and obstacles tried to steer me away from my destiny at a young age. Being the youngest of an older brother and sister was delightful, until I had to deal with a broken home and was forced to go into foster care at the age of 10. It was the first time I was separated from my birth parents and sister, but God was with me, and favor followed me. My brother joined me in foster care as while my older sister ran away. We all dealt with the struggles that came from the physical abuse, alcoholism, and drug use by our mother.

After one year, my brother and I were reunited with our father and were released from foster care. Soon after, I developed a relationship with God when I was saved at 12 years old. The whole family was reunited when I was 16, and they began to follow Christ as well. Immediately, I began to follow in my calling.

Moreover, I began serving and leading in music, media, and youth ministry. I have had the opportunity to reach many individuals through these various ministries, not only here in Las Vegas but all over the country. I have served as a Minister of Music for 15 years, training and directing sanctuary, youth, and mass choirs. I also directed church bands and led worship.

My strongest interest was in the youth ministry, where I mentored students, helping to train and develop strong youth leaders and student volunteers. In doing that, since 1994, I have developed youth curriculum and overall structured music and youth ministries for over three decades. All that came to an end on August 1, 2021. During that time, I also built media ministries and established social networking in churches. See the O Gala: A Night to Remember for the finale night after 27 years here.
After my retirement from youth ministry, I continued to periodically mentor students witin an organization called Genius Schools US. We challenged students to bring out their inner genius and helped with community projects here in Las Vegas and around the world. This is an International Global non-profit where I was an advisor, Genius Coach, and the Genius of play from 2018-2025.

Currently, I attend The MTN Church, a very vibrant community under the leadership of Pastors Samuel & Jessica Goulet. Their vision to "Love God, Love People" is a refreshing stride of my heartbeat. I currently act as the Executive Operating Officer and sit on the Trustee Board to assist in building the community.

Of course, because I have so much energy, I wear many hats. I am also the CEO of ODA Financial Services, where I consult start-ups, including franchise sales and existing small businesses, to raise capital. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and it gives me much pleasure to assist in helping small businesses thrive in our country.

I also love to work out, and I do that at the best gym in the country, Lifetime Fitness. There, I do Alpha Strength, swimming, EDG Cycle, and I add yoga regularly. In June 2020, I went plant-based, and it seems to agree extremely with my lifestyle. See my full fitness page here to follow my fitness journey.

Overall, I am someone you will never forget when you meet me. Many ask what's a typical day for you, Orlander? Well, obviously, I run my business, and since it is remote, it always gives me the flexibility to assist with the daily operation at my local church and travel. I love to catch a happy hour with a kid or an adult, and catch up on my favorite show I'm watching. I make sure I keep up with all the trends and keep informed of the latest news. The second question many ask is, How do I know so many people?" My constant saying is, "I never meet a stranger." We are all family in my opinion. My appreciation for life stands tall, since I know I almost didn't make it into this world. With that in mind, treating people with love and taking an interest in others is second nature. Everyone needs a little bit of Orlander in their life, not because of who I am, but because of who is inside of me.
